This scarf is hand painted by Estonian artist Liisimari Randjärv on 100% natural habotai silk. It's very gentle for skin, light and breathy. In fact, the more you wear products made from silk, the better your skin is taken care of compared to other fabrics. Silk is good for your youthful and healthy skin - smooth fibers of silk helps to keep moisture close to your skin.
SAKURA is inspired by beautiful spring in Asia. Sakura - or cherry blossoms - are the national flowers of Japan. Sakura represents a time of renewal and optimism. The pops of pink mark the ending of winter and signify the beginning of spring. Sakura have very quick blooming season, cherry blossoms also symbolize the transience of life, a major theme in Buddhism. With this scarf I capture the tender and sweet beauty of cherry blossoms. Colors vary from cold darker pink to light shades of pink to gray and black. Every scarf is painted one by one using Shibori technique (an ancient Japanese dye-art), which makes every item the only version of itself. Not only the water-based colors applied on it does not destroy the original softness but also enhances the beauty in the most unique and traditional way.

THE EYE OF HEAVEN is inspired by the beautiful sky. Clouds are so inspiring with their constant changing in shapes and colors. Sometimes in the sunrise or sunset I would like to capture the moment and freeze it in time. When only few shy sun rises peeking out from the clouds and clouds. This is the feeling I wanted to reflect with this scarf. Colors vary from ultramarine blue to orange, light purple, yellow and dark blue. The background is painted using a lot of water and salt to create wavy sea waves look. Background is very different in style to bring out the main characters of the scarf - royal orchid flowers. Colors vary from bronze, light and dark purple to ocean blue. Every item is the only version of itself.
-Tips how to take care of silk scarf -
Hand-wash in cold water with a mild soap or baby washing liquid, do not soak the scarf. After washing you can add hair conditioner to on your silk scarf. It will make your scarf smoother and softer. Gently rinse the hair conditioner off.
Pat dry with a fluffy bath towel, roll the silk in towel and after some time take out and hang straight to dry, avoid direct sunlight on scarf.
Iron on a low heat setting while scarf is damp (under a cotton cloth) If the scarf is already dry you can always use some spray water to make it a bit wet before ironing, then its easier to get it straight.
