ALLUVIAL is inspired by the spring and the arrival of rainy season in Vietnam. In spring I am used to fresh and blooming nature in Europe but here in Asia its the change to rainy season - this scarf is inspired by both, the blooming awakening nature of Estonia and stormy and rainy Vietnam. Colors vary from orange, bright green to gray and black.

BREATHE is inspired by rainy season in Vietnam. When we have summer in Estonia its a ready season in Vietnam. In this scarf I wanted to capture the refreshing feeling after a tropical rain. It rains a lot here usually after lunch and suddenly the heavy rain and thunder stops and the air is so fresh and cool. Sun rises also peeking out from the clouds again and all the nature is fresh after the rain. Colors vary from salmon pink, purple, green to coral blue. Every scarf is painted one by one using Shibori technique (an ancient Japanese dye-art), which makes every item the only version of itself. GAILLARDIA is inspired by beautiful flower with same name. Gaillardia comes from daisy family. I have always love those flowers in summer in Estonia. Beautiful eye-catching bright red and yellow flowers. With this scarf I wanted to capture to bright joy and happiness what this flower shines out.

MARIANA is inspired by the port. There is a lot of rivers and bridges in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. One of my favorite places is the Saigon river port in Tôn Đức Thắng street. With this scarf I would like to capture the feeling of freedom what I always feel in this port. Colors vary from coral blue to cold pink and little pit of purple. -Tips how to take care of silk scarf -
Hand-wash in cold water with a mild soap or baby washing liquid, do not soak the scarf. After washing you can add hair conditioner to on your silk scarf. It will make your scarf smoother and softer. Gently rinse the hair conditioner off.
Pat dry with a fluffy bath towel, roll the silk in towel and after some time take out and hang straight to dry, avoid direct sunlight on scarf.
Iron on a low heat setting while scarf is damp (under a cotton cloth) If the scarf is already dry you can always use some spray water to make it a bit wet before ironing, then its easier to get it straight.
